Notes & Policies

  • Room rates and villa rates are quoted in New Zealand Dollars and are exclusive of government Goods and Services Tax at 15% (GST).
  • Rates include pre-dinner drinks and canapés, full country breakfast and use of all facilities.
  • A table d’hote dinner service of four courses is available by prior arrangement. A charge of $115 + GST per person applies. Please notify us of any special dietary requirements.
  • A minimum 2-night stay applies for the holiday period 15 December - 15 January.
  • Children are welcome by arrangement.
  • We regret pets are not allowed.
  • We ask you to respect the non-smoking policy inside the buildings and guest rooms.
  • Guest check in is at 2pm and checkout is at 12 noon. Any other times are by arrangement.
  • Guest facilities include a recreation room housing a full-sized billiard table, a gymnasium and meeting facilities, plus swimming and spa pools, croquet lawn, pétanque court and two hectares of garden.
  • The property has helicopter access.
  • The GPS coordinates are latitude: 39° 43.785´ South; longitude 176° 38.594´East.
  • As changes to your reservation or cancellations affect us greatly, the following cancellation policy applies:

Outside 90 days before arrival - no charge
30 to 14 days – charged for one night.
Less than 14 days – charged for every night booked.

Peak holiday season (December 15 to January 15 inclusive) cancellation policy:
Less than 60 days – charged for every night booked.

  • We encourage all guests to take out travel insurance in the event that circumstances beyond their control cause cancellation of their booking and incur a cancellation fee.
  • To secure a booking we require valid credit card details to which a deposit equivalent to the first night's rate will be charged. This deposit is refundable in accordance with the cancellation policy above.
