Wine & Food Programs
Glen Aros is a perfect place for guests to experience the best of Hawkes Bay’s wine and food in an interactive and entertaining way.
Hosted by leading Hawkes Bay wine specialists, Convivium, the following experiences are approximately 1.5 hours in duration and are ideally suited to late afternoon or pre-dinner activity.
Hawkes Bay Tastes ‘Challenge’ – a sociable experience incorporating a fun and competitive twist. In small groups, guests sample a selection of regional food and wine. The ‘challenge’ is to answer questions about each item following the clues provided. Prizes are awarded to the winning group.
Hawkes Bay Wine Discovery – a selection of wines from leading Hawkes Bay vineyards is presented to guests in an educational, yet informal, tasting. Led by an independent Hawkes Bay wine specialist, guests gain a unique insight into the diversities of the region, its winemakers, grape varieties and wine styles.
